| if i came to you,r home spent a day ,an hour would i see these in you,r life .if i saw you in the store or just out some where how many of these would be alive in you,r life? galations 5;22,23. the fruits of the spirit ;1.love;intense affection 2.joy ; a strong feeling of great happiness,delight,contentment,satisfaction,happy.3.peace ;a state of physical or mental tranquitlity,calm,serenity,the absence of war the state of harmony between people .4;long suffering ;being pateint ,demonstrating uncomplaining endurance under distress.5;gentleness;not harsh,or severe,rough or loud.6;goodness;having desirable or favorable qualities or character.7;faith; a belief in the value or truth of something or some one. .....verse 23 meekness ;showing patience,having a gentle disposition ......temperance;moderation,restraint........i think we have heard this read this but is it alive in are lives? . do we let are light shine ?or we pick and chose who we will wittness to.are we so busy with titles ,with are own self that we forget gods word .when we go to bed at night do we think of the harsh words or the attitude weve had towards others through the day . in galations 6 ;10 i love this verse as we have therefore oppertunity ,let us do good unto all men ,especially unto them who are of the household of faith...we need to watch what we say and how we treat people .wouldnt be ashamed if are wrong doing caused one to fall.........thank you for taking the time to read this its my first time off of myspace writting any thing.i would love some input comments |

| Perfect time to remind us all to be watchful and guard our tongues. :) With all the unexpected, last minute things that come up during the holidays, it is too easy to get snippy with those we love the most. So much better when we can trust that God has perfect timing for every little detail in our lives --- even if it means waiting in lines or sitting in traffic or taking that phone call that we don't think we have time for. :) Gotta make the best of it and see all the "setbacks" as part of the adventure! *GRIN* |

| Amen! Thanks for the reminder...I love the fruit of the spirit scripture in Galatians...I pray that these characteristics abound more and more in my life and in those who belong to the household of faith...Because we are the light of the world...So we are to Shine, Shine, Shine... |

Theresa...a long time ago I saw the list of spiritual fruit in Gal. 5:22-23 as things to seek after, to intentionally do. But now I seek God daily and the fruit appear on their own. After all, does any fruit tree really have to try to bear fruit? No, it is enough that they live, and that they are what they are! i.e. the fruit comes naturally! Thanks for the blog! |
