Dan, Terry, Denise – Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I am blessed to have such a beautiful family! Indiana has some very beautiful country. I miss the Indiana trees…they have miniature trees in Texas

What part of Indiana are you from?  I'm from around the Washington, Indiana region - born in Vincennes and raised in Loogootee for the majority of my life.

Hi Dayna, I am from around Lafayette...the north central part of Indiana. I went to Vincennes University...many, many years ago.

Hey I missed this story the first time round. I really enjoyed your storytelling..very nice. I also enjoyed learning about your life in Indiana and the photos to go with it. The place where you lived in the hills is lovely! Now about that disability. Now that you get it, couldn't you transfer back to Indiana and have it redirected?

Penny - Thanks. My SSI is federal and would transfer, but my Medicaid wouldn't. I would have to go through the whole process all over and be without insurance for a while. My daughter wants me back and has been looking into all the paperwork. If I could afford Medicare I think that would transfer also.
