How was your year on mychurch? Lets share!

I was thinking this morning about " mychurch" and was saying " We are going on to another year"
365 days talking to people I have never met in person and how the relationship with those of you whom I have met have helped me to grow Spiritually!
I am just so grateful to God and the wonderful people here on this site, and pray that your experience here was refreshing.

Great idea Keith! Yes, meeting folks and reading what they have to say has been very educational this past year, just as it was our first year on MC (2007). Some "difficult" folks helped God teach me perseverance, patience, trust, discernment, compassion, and courage, strengthening me in maturity and devotion to God. And the many lovely encouragers on here encouraged me greatly this year to continue to pursue God and share what he has revealed in his Word. Their (your) examples of lives lived for God were perhaps the most encouraging thing to me... the beauty of the Gospel in ways that we can truly "see"... hallelujah!!!

Well, I guess that's a start!

Wow! Thanks Mike and your blogs have meant a lot to me too. I just got off the phone with a great women of God that I meant here on mychurch " We talked for about an hour" And we talked about how People that you have never seen in person can seem like family" This is "I think" the awesomeness of God"

     I joined MyChurch in 2007 (?).  No one from my home church was into this so I reach out to this community that I saw who was praying and encouraging each other and was even having some good old Christian fun.  I started going to those profiles and requesting to become friends and WOW they reached out to me with an overwhelming response.  I wanted to document bits and pieces of this New Journey God had me on and from that birth a friendship that has me writing poetry (Thank You KC) which  turned my pain to PRAISE.  I use to think people that did this on the net didn't have a life but it bought life back to me, and for that I am grateful.  The comments have been encouraging and some days people know just what to send for such a time as this.  I have healed and met some wonderful friends outside the "Screen".  fellowship with Mike n Laura & kids at their church (totally awesome worship) where I met Toni and someday will meet Sue :)  I went to NC to see my son on Thanksgiving and there I had the pleasure to me Becky  (reblewithacause) for lunch.  I am still amazed at the out pouring of love and prayers to me.  I've grown in Faith, Peace and a major Transformation with my Bishop's sermons and the outreach here...I'M MOVING MOUNTAINS

It's Been Great Year I meet more of my Sisters and Brothers in Christ,I was able to shair their Joys and Fears and all the Great Blogs! I have been truly Blessed by our Heavenly Father to have meet you all!

Helo Brother, Its great to read your blogs from time to time. I love to be your friend. I realised how powerful it is to have a relationship in the Lord. Your have encouraged me, comforted me, made me feel important and I praise God for you. I love MYCHURCH and It is my family. You know we are praying for everyone on MYCHURCH and I want to tell you and all others that read this that the doors are OPEN to come to India and minister. The need is great and labourers are few. Tell everyone that we will be  more than  happy to have anyone who is williing to come and minister to us. 2009 is going to be a great year of Harvest for us.

Son it been the most rewarding experince I ever had with friends all over the world the fellowship is awesome the spiritual inlightement from the word and all anionted men & women on mychurch has truly been OUTSTANDING with God's help has taken me to another level in Him. This is so personal for me. I have two adopted Sons on this site & you know who you are a true blessing from my God a Host of friends, this is a God thing only He can put this many people together to enjoy the word share the word teach the word, this is bring all glory to our God.

2008 was a great year for me. God showed me somethings about people and others in this world that I never knew. I had my ups and my downs. I lost some friends and gain some friends but I have to say on mychurch everybodies words of wisdom and encouragement on my page just gave me hope and life for me to on into 209. I am indeed grateful for mychurch and the website. My prayer is that mychurch is blessed in more ways then they can ever imagine. I want to also say to everyone who left me words of wisdom and notes on mychurch last year please don't stop. I need them this year and beyound to keep me going. Let us all remember that:

Greetings Pastor Keith,
I echo the many responses that have been written about my church.When my friend sent me the invite I thought what good will this be foe me? Well, I have been encouraged and enlightened and strenghtened, by the testimonies and fellowship. I feel so close to these people(borthers ans sisteres) whom I have never seen, but do hope to meet some if not all. I am so grateful to God for the change He brought about in my life and the church in 2008 and,He has instilled in me the change is still being worked out in the body of Christ(all of us).I sometimes read randomly. but especially to those who request to be a friend. It means they have a desire to " get to know me" as much as I do myself and all I meet here. It has been a blessing for me.
God bless all of my brothers and sisters on my church.
