| "I've got the love of Jesus!" |

Last night we had a great communion service. The Lord was there and we had great freedom in the service. I serve the communion to the men who serve the congregation. As I pass the tray the first time I will usually ask them something to the effect of "how is your walk with God?". Last night I came to the first man and before I could say anything he blurted out this phrase:
"I've got the love of Jesus!" This man has only been in our church for a couple of years. It is so wonderful to see God at work in his life. He is becoming more and more senstive to the word of God. He is attending all the services on a regular basis. His heart is so tender to the working of God, that sometimes with tears in his eyes he has shared what God is doing in his life. Is he perfect? No! and he would be the first to say so. But the exciting thing to me, is he is growing. He is headed in the right direction and there is change you can see. Jesus cautioned us about judging but did tell us to be fruit inspectors (see Matt. 7). As a pastor and a church this is what we are all about; life change. Seeing the Holy Spirit change people's lives through the word of God. Would you join with me in prayer that more people would be changed at Faith. What can you do? - Invite people to church, this is by far the most effective way of getting people exposed to the life changing news of the gospel
- Pray for the people God has brought into your world
- Send this link to your friends it is a page on our web site with links all themed to Connecting with God
- Hear a sermon that moves you? Send the link to a friend from our web site so they can listen to that sermon and then you can talk about it at work. Here is the link to our sermon page
- Help us make sure that Faith is always a "hospital for sinners not a museum for saints."
5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. It was great to have our first associate in the services last night. Chris Cooper stopped by for a visit and it was great to see him. He was our associate here at Faith from 1987-1989, can you believe that was twenty years ago! Wow I must be as old as dirt. :)
