Thanks, Phyllis.  That is a wonderful quote.  Did you make it up yourself?

And thank you, Cece.  What a wonderful compliment.

I would also like to add here ( my collar bone is stil lnot healed healed all the way and I want to say so much :0(  ) Read the BIBLE- Study the BIBLE- find out what means what!

I find the closer I get to God and His word, the hungrier I get, and it turns into this massive holy hunger, one that I can not get enough of but I become fed and am starved for more all in the same breath!  I am saddened when people stop feeding on the good stuff.

Great post Steve (of course!)

Like it or not; your title should be: "LAZY CHRISTIANS NEED MOTIVATION"!

Angela:  "Massive holy hunger" for God-- that is what all Christians need.

That is a good kind of fear, Donna.  The word says:  "Let him who thinks he stands, take heed lest he fall."  It is good to fear falling for that keeps us hungry.

HSPM:  Thanks for the comment.

This morning the Holy Spirit gave me these four verses to share with you all:

Hebrews 11:6 (notice the last phrase); Romans 9:1a&b; Galatians 1:10-12 and 2 Timothy 4:2.

This too is from the Lord: We men of God (especially) need to be preparing for what is coming to fulfillment an all-out "spiritual war" against all of God's people - as is manifested in the increasing natural war against Israel!  Israel is preparing herself - even though God will defend her!  But "Christians" have been playing in a religious sand-box!

All Christian men (especially) need to be learning to grow-up in the knowledge of God in order to exercise the Divine Authority Jesus has given us.  As long as one continues to engage in trivial religious exercises - that is an indication that he is not yet "battle ready"!

Give Jesus Christ all glory (recognition); not your-selves.

Provebs 27:17.

It's a great thing when one can be inspired by another. I've found my greatest inspiration, I mean motivation from a Book that was Holy inspired. I've read lots of lives of men that were a success as the world calls it, but rarely have they done anything for God other than a show. I've read in the Bible men that turned the world upside down for Christ Jesus.
