I have been blessed beyond comprehension! Of course, I already thought that I was blessed, to even have discovered Jesus, would make me blessed, but He has really gone above and beyond what I could have imagined.
I have been offered a part time job, by a member of my home church. It is right up my alley, and something I could only have dreamed of. This man owns his own business making potato chips. They are getting ready to move into a new and bigger building, and much nicer than what they have now. He has asked me to be in charge of decorating for different seasons and holidays in their new building, since they have a store that people come into to purchase chips. I will also be decorating some of the offices, meeting rooms, doing some Christmas decorating outside, and also some flower planting in the summer, and whatever else might come up.
I have been praying for something like this for a long time. I wanted to find a job, and had found the one working part time at Curves, but now this...I didn't want to go back to a set schedule and the stress and grind of an every day job. After working in my own business for so long, it is hard to go back to work. I have enjoyed working at Curves, and will continue. The hours are few enough that I don't get tired of it. But this is what I am really thrilled about. I love doing the kind of things I will be doing in this new job. I am trained as a floral designer and just enjoy doing creative things like I will be doing. God has given me such a great gift! You can always think that you are blessed enough, and then God does something that goes above and beyond.
Why does He do it? Why does He bless me and love me even though I am so unworthy of those blessings and that love? He could have stopped with giving me the first job that I got. I was happy and satisfied. But now He is giving me something that is the essence of who I am. I am thrilled with the opportunity He has given me. I am overwhelmed at the love He must have for me. ME! I am blessed beyond measure!
Thank You Lord, for loving me, for blessing me far beyond anything I could have imagined. My simple thanks is not enough, but I hope to live my life to honor You in everything I do. |

John 3:16 Deb!
Why does He bless me and love me even though I am so unworthy of those blessings and that love? He could have stopped with giving me the first job that I got.
He gave His Only begotten son to redeem you. It was also about His desire to have you the one whom He created for a good purpose. We weren't worth of that but He is. And now that He has placed us in Christ is He not worthy to receive the fruit of His suffering? It is written:
Romans 8:32 ( ESV ) He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Blessings! Craig |

You are God's Child. He loves you, and blesses you because you are the apple of His eye. You are a blessing to me and to bunches and bunches of people that you don't even know, Deb! Your sister in Christ, Joey |

Joyful Servant, thank you, and you are a huge blessing to me too!
EarthenVessel, it never ceases to amaze me that Jesus chose to die for us...for me...even knowing the sin I am in. I am amazed, awed, humbled...and when He blesses me with something that is so perfectly suited for me, it amazes and awes and humbles me even more. I will live my life to honor Him!
Joey, thank you...you are such a blessing to so many, as well as to me.
Yahschild, Thank you! |

Deb, this is awesome! So wonderful to read how God has blessed you, and of course, we are so glad to share in your joy...as well as your awe of God's goodness!! ps... Ooh, to work in a potato chip maker's business, a dream job for many! Reminds me, I recently had a bag of "Mama Zuma's Revenge", habanero chips... I'd kinda like to work there! lol |

| Mike, I think after a while, if I had to work around the smell of potato chips all the time, I would get sick of the smell. I literally smelled like a potato chip when I left :) But for right now, the smell might make me a little hungry for a while. They are good...although I don't think I would like habanero chips. My husband would though! |

| How awesome our Creator is.Not only do you get to do something you love, you also work at Curves and you will be able to work off any extra pounds you might gain while munching on chips as you decorate. |
