And, yes, Kathy, it did take awhile.  It was a labor of love for me, but an infringement on computer time to my DD.  You didn't share what YOU love about America, girlfriend!

Oops!  Let's go back and start over!  That's a question I have thought a lot about, having traveled outside of the U.S. several times.  My heartfelt answer is our freedoms.  But when I'm away, one of the things I am glad to get back to is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream!   Ice Cream

I love the fact that God wanted a place for His people to be free to worship Him freely even though it's taken a few wrong steps it's still a place of free worship. Also i love the beaches He has blessed us with and all those  good tasting treats that have come from the kitchens of those who love to be creatative. I love long walks with  Cheyenne...good friends...watching the stars at night and all the blessing God has given  my health my parents and brothers  and their families my children and thier spouses and children for all the servicemen and their families past present and future.... i am truely blessed and i thank God for that. and of course all you wonderful new friends on mychurch............God bless you all this day and forever LET FREEDOM RING

Voice, you cracked me up by reminding me of one of my first mondegreens:

When I sang along to that Lobo hit, I sang:

Me and you and a dog named Boo
Travelin' and livin' off the land
Me and you and a dog named Boo

How I love the army of green men.

Everybody sing!!

Too funny Soozanne...at least I know I am not the only one who only remembers words "my way".  However, that song was not one that I mixed the words on...it was a coming of age song for me when I first started driving.  Gotta love it!

I love that we can worship whenever, whereever and however we want without being arrested or something crazy like that. I love Disney World. Freedom of speech. Freedom to eat whatever junk we want. LOL Exp: Denny's at 3 AM., McDonalds, Chinese or Italian (Yummy).  This was a cute blog Soozanne!

FREEDOM!!!!!!

Respect for individual rights; a Government that is based on a Constitution (the closest thing around these days to a 'Covenant'), and not a dictator's whim.

FREEDOM!!!

Opportunity to enjoy the benefits of your hard work; private property, savings, and a home.

FREEDOM!!!

Hope for the future and a better opportunity for my kids.  Education/school.  New technology.

FREEDOM!!!

Optimism.  Innovation.  A willingness to take risks to try something new and invent a better way of doing things.

FREEDOM!!!

The right to vote and the freedom to disagree.

FREEDOM!!!

Fresh read raspberries picked off the bushes in July, ice-cold watermelon slices, food hot off the grill, fresh sweet corn, tomatoes ripe off the vine.

FREEDOM!!!

Internet access

FREEDOM!!!

Respect for our veterans, our police officers, our teachers, our firemen, our community leaders and community servants.

FREEDOM!!!

Oh, and did I mention........ FREEDOM!!!
