Of course! How else will I be able to bounce those little balls off of the cup unless it is on the table top? Of course, I didn't say that anything would be in the cup other than dry air. LOL ;) Dave

NOPE, its a horizontal surface--at my house it would be covered in paper, books, junk mail, empty coffee cups, and toys in about 2.6 nano seconds.  I wonder what it would do when my cat walked across it?
