These Students Need Sponsors

I wrote about the school needs for 5 dear orphans in Kericho, Kenya. They range in ages from 13-16 years though it is difficult to know some of their precise ages due to lack of documentation.

The amounts below are the amounts needed as partial payment if all the students are to enroll in school this month. 

- $1851.95 (US)
- 2165.40 (Cdn)
- 1172.90 (British Pounds)
- $1348.85 (Euros)
- $2580.96 (Aussie)

We are seeking God's provision for these dear ones. If these amounts are not received soon, these children will not go to school this term. Please pray for them and if you need more information, contact me, pennyjoy@gmail.com

wait! is this the size of the orphans I am knitting for? because the first sweater is not going to fit

LOl - no dear...There are many orphans...of all sizes. These are some of the older ones...but there are many more from toddlers up...keep knitting *smile* If u want to knit some bigger ones too that would be fine.

Wow that's a good deal of money needed...

I truly wish I could help with financial aid but my husbands work has been cut down to 3 and 4 days a week. So we too are struggling just to stay afloat with our bills. I will certainly be praying for a financial blessing for these precious children. Even now Lord I pray that you will look down upon these children and meet their every need. Lord bless them mentally, physically and financially. Place these children in the hearts of those readers who have it within their power to help with their school needs. Multiply it back to them pressed down and over flowing... Bless each and every teacher and every hand that takes part in the care of all the children just like these all over the world. Thank you dear Lord for giving me the opertunity to see the faces of these children and feeling the need to pray. I pray a special blessing upon Joyful Servant for her dear heart in meeting these dear ones needs. Bless this my sister with your sweet comfort, peace and love.

Yes, Jan. It is a good amount of money but some of the needs have been met already. I think from somewhere around one-third of the costs.  Praise God! I keep sending out blogs about these needs because the children are all in different circumstances and getting letters of acceptance at different times to attend to school. As well, these children and the leadership team need prayers. There is famine in the country and much societal disruption over the last year so really need to uphold them in prayer continuously ..that God would meet all their needs, school and otherwise. God bless you and your husband for praying. You don't know how much it helps!

I do know beyond a doubt that prayer changes things...

Nothing is too big for God! I will keep praying for their needs to be met!
