It's not whats in the cup that is hard to swallow its whats in the mirror. Today we have so many ways to cosmetically cover up our dislike and shame. There still lye's the one thing that you can not change through no other purchase than the blood of Jesus. This scripture brings me back to a blog that was posted on yesterday called; "MyChurch, MyChurch" by KCJoe. I'd like to add that as today's scripture can only speak to your own heart. This is not a popularity race, a point scale or even who knows the most, its all about who? Jesus and saving souls, lets get our hearts right Church before the coming of the Lord.
My Church, My Church
I woke up this morning, with the Lord on my mind. There are so many things, that takes from God's time. But soon as things get bad, we want to run to the Lord. We are so blessed, to have such a merciful God.
I would like to think, my heart is good, and my words are kind. But everyone who has spoken to me, know I speak my mind. So when I say, what I have to say, I pray I don't cross the line.
There is a fork in the road, and a dim in the light. My Church, is starting to become, like other web sites. I see lust, gossip, and many things, that I know are not right.
The change started, when the election came about. People started talking more about the world, and leaving God out. I came to My Church, to fellowship, and talk about the Lord. Now it seem, no one wants to talk about God.
They would much rather talk about the economy, or the problems of life. But the truth is, these things, wouldn't exist, if more was focus on Christ. I myself, haven't notice a change, though they say it's a recession. May because I stay focus on God, and that's just one of my blessings.
A person, that walks truly with God, will never complain. He knows the sun is shining, he just have to pass through the rain. I have never seen, so many Christians, crying about the economy, relationships, and what a president will do. What is going to happen in your life, depends on the relationship, that God's has with you.
The Bible said, we are to pray, without cease. Any time our eyes is off God, we fall prey to the beast. Faith is something, you have to work. No, I am not happy, with the things I am seeing on My Church. So excuse me, if this seems a little strong. But one who walks with God, will ever excuse wrong. The truth is a hard thing, cause it often hits home.
I just want us to get back, to praying and praise, so God will hear our cry. I probably should have kept mouth quiet. And just kept my feeling inside. But I didn't, but neither did I lie. So feel free, to respond back. I said what I said out of love, not to attack. 12:2 Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 12:3 Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. |
