Broken Hearts 2: The healing begins

Air1.com, an online Christian radio station, sends out a daily verse. Yersterday I got this in my email:

LORD, you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you.

Isaiah 26:12 NLT

I saw that today, I don't always get to read my email, and thought"Wow, God is so good."
He is providing us comfort from His Word.

Then I read Today's verse:

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

Isaiah 40:29 NLT

And was blown away by how well God can comfort. Someone at Air1, or maybe it was just a random computer thing, but at any rate words of comfort and encouragment have been pouring out and speaking to my heart that was broken by the news from Mexico yesterday. Yesterday I did feel like the weak and powerless, but today I really feel the power of the Lord!!!

After all of this, my wife and I sit down to watch a movie together, Facing the Giants.

The whole theme of the movie is "With God anything is posible." We just need to remember that and apply it to the situation at the MCCS campus in Rio Bravo. The Lord is always working by His plan. We can't always see it but we MUST TRUST HIM!! I'm praying that God will help me listen for His still, small voice that WILL come after this storm.
