I NEED YOUR HELP! Not only do I need your help, but countless other people are affected! The new trend on the Internet is news videos. News videos are my main concern right now. Please read this entire blog, it's not very long.
I want you to try something, please. There are two steps. Well, there are three, if you want to help! (a video included in this blog and a sample email) 1. Go to a news network website and listen to one of their news videos, WITH NO VOLUME. 2. Then listen to it again with the volume at a comfortable level for you. You will have a better idea of how it is to be deaf or hearing impaired, wanting to KNOW what is being said--but can not. These videos need to include closed captioning. 19:14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I [am] the LORD. I am enclosing a copy of a letter I emailed to FOXNews.com. I plan to write to all of the major networks, as I can. Please pray about this problem. Many people have a problem related to their hearing. Please consider what you could do to help get the word around about the need for closed captioning on videos, etc. Thank you! ****

Hello,
I love watching Fox News on television. My television does have closed captioning capability. I thank you for CC on your network!
I see that the videos on FOXNews.com are not closed captioned. PLEASE, please add closed captioning to your FOXNews videos.
Try looking at the videos on your FOXNews site with NO VOLUME and you will have a better idea of how it is for deaf or hearing impaired individuals, especially if they depend on web site videos for news.
If I've sent this request to the wrong address, please advise me of correct department and address or please forward this request to appropriate department/departments.
Thank you for your help. VIDEO BELOW: Below is a video off YOUTUBE, that you can watch, if you like. It's a news story. Youtube and Google do offer closed captioning, but the Network has to include that with the video or would have to do it via their network videos viewed on the Network site. This video is not closed captioned. NO VOLUME first time and imagine words being written on the screen. At least you would know what is going on with the written words! Then replay, with volume. Which one did you get more out of?????
