I was born in iniquity, but without spot or blemish Yet I paid the most precious price for you,
your cost NO CHARGE
1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;
I suffered persecution among men, women and children, yet did nothing wrong,
your cost NO CHARGE
5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
I went to fiery pits of hell and back for you so that you would be free, your cost NO CHARGE.
1:18 I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
I bear the stripes of sickness and disease on my body so that you could live a life of divine health and your cost NO CHARGE.
53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
I died a horrendous death, nailed to a cross, I could’ve come down but my only thought was what would happen to my dear children, I must pay this ransom, and your cost NO CHARGE.
15:25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
I have to rebuke the enemy when I’m feeling taken for granted and unappreciated.
As a mom and wife, there is so much to be done for my family on a daily basis.
Many sacrifices are made, seen and unseen, that our children cannot grasp the concept of.
I often say that I would die for any of my children because I love them just that much.
I would do anything, within the will of GOD, if it meant that they would have a much better way of life. AND I WOULD NOT CHARGE THEM A THING!
MY POINT IS, Jesus died for each and every one of God’s children so that we could live life debt free, pain free, free of disease, sickness and sins of the flesh, full of peace and yet some of us, I included, still take HIM for granted.
My prayer today:
LORD, please forgive me for taking you for granted, making you feel unappreciated, as if what you did for me was some small act of kindness. Lord, I know that you gave the ultimate sacrifice, YOUR LIFE so that I could yet live. Please renew in me a right spirit and direct my path, control my thoughts so that I can stay focused and continue to realize that this life that you have given me, is not just for me but for my family, brothers and sisters in you and those that do not yet know you. Help me to be an effective witness, using my life as a testimony so that you may be glorified. Let me not murmur nor complain when things are not done, or done any other way than my way, It’s not about me but only about you. In the name of JESUS AMEN!
