Well, the word "gay" actually means happy and joyful. Yes, a happy and joyful demeanor IS a gift from God. Homosexual behavior is not. The O.T. writes about it ( to be stoned to death) and Paul writes about it in the N.T. The word he uses, "effeminate", is homosexual behavior. He also refers to it in Romans where the Lord "turns them over to a reprobate mind. Men lusting after each other." This is not looked upon as "God's approval", rather, God turning them over to their sinful ways. Not a good thing kids. When the Lord CAUSES you to be UN-redeemable, your a gonner'- salvation is no longer an option for you. THIS IS NOT A GIFT FROM GOD- IT IS JUDGMENT... Just a small note for all of you liberals out there who think that God is liberal- with blessings, yes; with behavior, not on your life.

I would tell them that they are wrong. Plain and simple. It is not a gift from God, it is simply man or woman turning against God to fill their own earthly pleasures.The flesh is weak and they give in to it. But, I would also tell them that God loves them, and if they would turn from the sin of being gay, God would welcome them home. Love the sinner, hate the sin. I would love still love them, but I can not condone what they do. It is not easy...being gay is an addiction, and breaking the addiction is a daily walk with Jesus, only He can help them through it.

This is perversion at its best. Trying to turn a lie into the truth. Homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God, and in the eyes of the majority.

Nothing within the Scripture we can claim or even support "being gay(homosexual) is a gift from God". This is a down right mockery to God and His Word. In places where gay/homosexual is mentioned in the scripture is a direct judgement from God.

Well, a sinful tendency is not a gift from God, it is a stronghold the enemy, Satan, has over you. You were not born as a homosexual, you were born with a sinful nature and this is the particular sin you may be struggling with. God will set you free if you turn to him. That's why he sent Jesus to die for you, because he loves you. Nobody is beyond the chance of receiving salvation until that person is dead.

I want to be careful what I say about it because it has become too much of a political issue. Homosexuals have forced there will in situations such as using boys shower rooms in athletic places before. The boys don't like it too much. Both sides need to get off the marriage issue to an extent. I don't support homosexual marriage, but it should be decided at the state level so that the federal government can't impose one side of the other's will on everybody. If it stays on the state level, somebody who is dissastified with the decision can go to one of 49 other states or get something done in his state. This will keep another divisive issue out of the federal government's hands. Christians need to stop judging and getting into their private business when it comes to legislation, and homosexuals need to respect our equal rights when it comes to how they encounter non homosexuals that they may be attracted to.

I believe that when anyone calls sin good and good evil,that is the work of Satan. How can anyone say that gay is a gift from God when you can read in the Word what God did to Sodom and Gomorrah for their behavior. He wiped them off the face of this earth. Like the bible says the way to life everlasting is narrow and few there by go. In the end we will all stand before Jesus and if you haven't surrendered your life to Him and accept Him as your Savior, then you will be cast out to spend an eternity in hell. Satan and all of his demons are doing all they can to get people to believe a lie because Satan knows his time is running out.

Every "good" thing comes from God. How can the affects of sodomy; increased death and disease amongst homosexuals, be a "good" thing? How can increased pedaphilia, pornography, murder rates, depression and suicide amongst "gays" be a "good" thing? Science absolutely refutes the lie that homosexuality is "normal and healthy". Quite the contrary! Just take a look at the stats. Let's speak the TRUTH! In the that we can bring the TRUE GIFT of FREEDOM for those who are trapped.

The Patriot, “When the Lord CAUSES you to be UN-redeemable, your a goner” So you are saying that god chooses these people to go to hell? Your understanding of the word “effeminate” in the biblical sense is incorrect, it does not mean to have female traits, it means to rebel against authority. In the bible the term “Men” applies to men and women due to the English translation where “men” is used to describe all peoples. You are taking things way out of context. Was it not Jesus in the NT that allowed for the eating of cloven hoof flesh? The laws of the OT that forbad the eating of shellfish and pork were the same laws that forbade homosexuality, so I ask you “do you eat pork?”

I think sexuality, both homo and hetero, is a gift from God. It's up to us how we use this gift. Do people of both persuasions abuse their gift of sexuality? Yes. Does that mean that they aren't gifts from God? No. It just means the flesh is weak.

TO those who believe that being gay is a gift from God I would say that you are reading something other than the divinely inspired Word of God. God strickly forbids homosexual relationships in His Holy Word. Sodom and Gomorrah is testimony to that. Many today are trying to change God's Word to suit their lifestyles and agenda--BUT--His Word still stands true and needs no refinement or correction. The homosexual trend today just reinforces the obvious fact that we are living in the last days. Make no mistake that God will, in His righteous judgement, allow all people to send themselves into eternal punishemnt and hell if that is what they choose. He desires that all come to repentance and eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ. The choice is clearly one that each and every individual will make. There will be no compromise when it comes to sin and sinful practices. It will either be God's way and design OR it will be eternal seperation and punishment.

What part of "it's an abomination" as stated in God's Word do they not understand. God loves them but He hates their sin and they are sacrificing their salvation for it. I pray the scales fall from their eyes and they see it as the lie of satan that it is to keep them from the Kingdom of God. Lord have mercy on them and all of us who choose any sin over You and thereby make it our idol. Let us worship only You the one true God.

gays and lesbians are NO EXCUSE, VERY WRONG! But talk to them to let understanding and change their lifes, repent! If They don't listen then let them to going, leave them alone then will be happen to them, nightmare! Actually, with this being a relatively NEW disposition about homosexuality being a gift from God and all that, I would like to know what would lead someone to believe that. Is it because this is the "new thing of the day", or do they really believe that. If they do really believe this, why is it just now coming to the fore. I mean just exactly what would they be pointing to as the evidence for this??

First I would only respond if the person I was talking to genuinely wished to know the answer to the above question, however, the bible teaches that every gift from the Father is 'good and perfect'. Being gay is not good and it is not perfect! Like any other 'outward' sin, homosexuality is a fruit, a manifestation, of what is going on on the inside of a person. I think if someone truly asked the above question it would be a perfect opportunity to share about God's True Gift Jesus, after all it is the Truth that sets you free! All Wisdom and Knowledge are hidden in Him and the bible is clear that we confront sin with the Truth, we should not get bogged down with what is right and what is wrong but Who He is and how much He loves us. The blood sacrifice of Jesus is far greater than any sin man has or ever will commit, it enables us to see past the external into a persons heart and speak words of life to the wounds that have been caused there. Love never ever fails!
