It has been a while since I've blogged, with kids, work and school I have been stretched for time. This A.M. I got the above verse in my email. I'n these uncertian times, prayer and faith are the only defenses we have against the troubles in theis world. I have had a few really rough weeks at work, good friends have been laid off, management is more demanding, we have the same amount of work but fewer people to do it. Throughout all of this I have been leaning on the Lord even more than usual, and i have found that He can ease our burdens. I have always had head knowledge of this fact, but when you actually gain the heart knowledge to go with the head knowledge, you can truly experience joy in Jesus' name.
Amen, thanks for sharing this Tom! You are so right. Wow, what an encouragement this was to me! I say with you that Christ is indeed my rock, and Him alone! "On Christ the solid rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand."
Thom, it has been an awesome inspiration to the boys and I as we've watched you leaning on God more and more and seen God give you more and more peace.Keep telling you that we are a blessed family and having you lead us as your walk grows deeper over the years is a real blessing for all 5 of our kids,our granddaughter, and myself.I have a real respect for you as our fearless leader.Keep leaning on the Rock of Salvation.
