What a sweet story! Its the little things like that, that are why it can be so awesome being a parent..and I'm sure we can never pray enough   for them......but its hard for me to think about future spouses with two girls...and no boys..:))))

It's so funny that you daddys of girls think you don't have to worry about the spouse thing, cause if yah don't let them date, how are they ever going to get married? (Thom quote)

Great story, kids are fantastic (and fun), aren't they? I never get tired of seeing & hearing them as they discover the world around them. Keeps me young too!  ~mike

Thanks for sharing your life in this sweet, insightful way. With two boys and one girl, I have also noticed the differences. But I was able to get my sons more involved in cooking than my daughter. Maybe it was because they loved to eat and, yes, loved messes! She had other more important things to do. Now she is engaged to a man who likes fine food and she is struggling to catch up.

I know God is hearing your prayers for spouses and will answer, even if you don't do it every day. He has answered our prayers for godly mates in ways beyond anything I could have asked for.

Our oldest daughter was not into the whole learning to cook thing either she was into basketball. When she left home it was Hot Pockets & cans. She  had to "catch up"" too. She's not too bad when she really wants to cook. Thanks for the encouragement.
