Faith, Hope being tested, Thanks for sharing as usual.... Excellent.

Faith, the substance of things hope for, but not yet seen.

Count it to be a blessing....When your faith is tested.
Yeah the teaching and walk is hard.
Which is why, many won't find the path, that leads to the Lord.

Yep.  guilty.  My husband just got home the other night from a home group, where they are doing John Bevere's "Honor's reward."  and he was talking about the complaining thing and the Children of Israel and the seriousness of our complaining.

When we complain to others, we just put our business in the street.
And with every word, we claim our own defeat.
The words you sow, will be the manifestation of what you reap.
Count it victory, before you get it, that's what that means.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! You are such an awesome brother in the Lord. God bless you.

Great blog!  None of us likes to suffer, but that is part of life, and those of us that go through it will find ourselves growing stronger in our faith if we just let God have control.  He can turn any bad situation into somethng good.

Amen Brother.   I'm a living witness that God will sustain you.   I celebrated the day that President Obama took office because that was the day that the Lord sustained my life with a successful liver transplant two years ago on January 20, 2007.   All Praise is due to our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.   Thank You KC Joe !!!   Without Faith it is impossible to Please God.   Hebrews 11:6

God has pulled us through hard times again and again.  He has provided when we could not find a way...  FAITH that ever elusive word that doesn't seem to mean much to many people.  He has never failed and he never will..

God bless you Joe

Awesome post.  Praise be to God.

1:2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, 1:3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 1:4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him. 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 1:7 For that person must not suppose that a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, will receive anything from the Lord. 1:8 1:9 Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, 1:10 and the rich in his humiliation, because like the flower of the grass he will pass away. 1:11 For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits. 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.

FAITH WILL ALWAYS BEING TESTED............
At the end of my day, tonight this has more of an impact
that I had to come back and read it again.  As my faith is
being tested on my Journey people have come and gone, I have
days where I get major Victories and Then there are those
moments where my true Faith is being tested to the Limit.
Today was one of those days and when the smoke cleared
and the dust settled it was Just Me and God.  I am OK with that
now and if I have to go the rest of my Journey alone I feel
that I have passed the test.......

There is a little conviction here Joe, thanks for that. This is something I have wrestled with often. Paul told the believers in Thess. to "be joyful always", as if this is possible. Well, isn't it? Not if we get distracted from the source of our joy, none other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Hey man, good blog!

I really like the way you put it all together.
Faith... May we all walk by it and not by sight.
How we feel is not important it is what is true, and God does not lie.
Praise the Lord !!

How can you, tell nonbeliever, the things they should do.
When all they see, is a lack of faith in you.

Amen Brother. Let us PRAY not to be a stumbling block to those in the faith and to those out of the faith who might otherwise come to know God but for our idle words and bad example.  We will be held accountable as believers...and receive our just reward...according to how we have lived out our walk.
1:2 Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort;
