6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
6:47Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
6:48He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
6:49But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Many like to say "God is in control".Yes,when you are a"follower,doer and obedient to His Word"...However it is not biblical to say you are a follower of Jesus if you "hearth my sayings,and"NOT" doeth them".Many don't understand what "LORD"means.When we say "Jesus is Lord",I ask Lord of what???It deeply disturbs me today when people say they are Christians and no one sees any evidence.
7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Alot of people who say they are Christians like to watch television on Sunday morning and complain that the T.V. preacher is only out for money.Why do you say that???It is because you have seen this man or woman do "many things"in Jesus name but it is seemingly for personal gain ie.FRUIT!!!What kind of fruit are you producing???Do you cuss,avoid paying tithes,go clubbing on Saturday night and church on Sunday,act "churchy"on Sunday But different every other day of the week????I ask again"What is Jesus Lord Of"???
26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
No one but Jesus is perfect.However we are to be imitators of HIM.
5:1 Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;
I've seen people act excited and full of the "spirit",only to leave church and fall away.Then again I've seen people who are calm and collected produce wonderful works in the Lord.....What does the world see in you?????
