Long Shadows And The Light

1:5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The shadows have grown long,

Giving warning of approaching darkness;

And people are searching

For their artificial lights,

To give them strength,

To make it through the night.

Yet many see not the greatest Light of all,

Because their supposed lights

Are too bright in their eyes,

And their heads are filled

With fantasy.

Jesus said, We are the Light of the world, that's Jesus shining through us. Jesus said, in John 3 that men would love the darkness more than the light. Maybe that's the reasons Churches aren't full. This little light of mine, I'm going let it shine.
