I know what you are thinking and I am not going to go"there".What I am referring to is the responsibility we have once we've accepted Jesus as our Savior.As I mentioned in my previous post"Why Do You Call Me Lord"we have more to accomplish once we are followers of HIM.We must learn God's Word:
2:15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I don't believe the Holy Spirit was wasting HIS breath when HE inspired men to write God's Word:
3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

So we need to replace the "old"thoughts and habits by renewing ourselves:
12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

By doing this we increase our faith:
10:17So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
While this will get you started remember to pray about what you are studying,meditate on what you are reading and as you apply it to your life you create your testimony:
12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Remember as you grow it will get harder from time to time:
15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Your faith needs to grow and will be tried:
1:3Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

So my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus "Become a Disciple and Go and Make Disciples"
16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

May God use you to the fullest of HIS purpose....it is up  you,Amen????

Hello, Bro Jimmie! There is a lot of times I wish people would get a hold of some of these blogs and take them very serious and DO what these blogs and scriptures say. I can tell that a lot of these blogs you post come directly from your heart and also God is speaking to you too. I read a lot of your blogs.

I tell ya, I have been so mad at the devil! I'm so sick and tired of people letting the devil come in and destroy their lives. I wish we could shake some word and sense into their lives. People need to get a hold of God and not listen to what the world is saying. Anyways Great blog. TTYL..... Kimberly
