Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.--Col.1:21Who once were alienated: The ancient Greek word translated alienated (apellotriomenous) is literally “transferred to another owner.” This transfer of ownership, from God to Satan and self, has effected us in both mind and behavior.---Understanding this, we need a life transformation...a new life, and this new life is offered in Christ Jesus.We are at enmity with God. Something needs to happen to restore the relationship. Something needs to happen so we can get back in good grace with God. ---That something did happen AT THE CROSS!
