I first read of experiments in the implantation of microchips in humans in the very late 70s in one of Hal Lindsay's books. I can't recall if it was Countdown to Armageddon or The Late Great Planet Earth. In any case, he spoke of the New World Order coming (Bilderbergs and One World Government). He also wrote about the experimentation with microchips in a small town in Sweden where a chip implanted into a human hand would be used to swipe and debit funds to pay for gas, rather than an exchange of cash! Think about it. This was 40 years ago when most of us had never laid eyes on a debit card or a computer. In fact, Wendall Wilkie (former presidential candidate) wrote a book in 1940s called One Government. This was over 80 years ago! More recently, i remember the former (1989) President Bush Sr. spoke of a New World Order on a regular basis. Does anyone remember that? We are now witnessing the culmination of the development of the establishment of the New World Order(precursors include EEU, NAFTA [and possible common currency]). Last year on the Charlie Rose Show, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Nobel Peace Prize Winner talked about the world being ready for a New World Order within the year. More recently he spoke about President Obama's task as being to create a strategy for the USA at a time when really the New World Order will be created. He cited Obama's extraordinary reception around the world at a time of great simultaneous upheaval in key parts of the world! One of the last signs before Jesus' 2nd appearing is the establishment of the New World Order. The economic tragedy, and the shake up of world economies and governments now occurring would seem to the catalyst that pushes the world toward being ready for the implementation of One World Government. It is very near. For awhile now I have been waiting for these things to come to pass with some fear and trepidation. Fear because though I know that Christ and his followers have victory (already established), I am a believer that we followers will not be raptured before the Great Tribulation. Thus, we as followers will have to ensure that we do not succumb to the mark of the beast and we will have to withstand what comes. The Bible doesn't refer to it as the Great tribulation for nothing. My conclusion based on facts and information so far is that this mark will be a mandatory microchip (time will bear out whether this is true). You can see how the introduction of the debit cards and passwords and microchips for pets, over the past few years has primed us for implanted microchips in humans. In fact, just the year before last, here in Vancouver 2 people (one from the USA made news-page news [but little public buzz] ) about their voluntary implantation of microchips so that they no longer had to carry around household keys and such. This again is fact, not rumour. While I couldn't locate the story on line, I have located another story printed a few years ago in the national news. You and I read the same books in the 70's Penny. I was terrified because I was a new Christian and my boys were small. I now have grands from the eldest son and I waffle at times afraid and at times in faith. As much as I love you and you love me back, I am a pre-trib believer. I know that those who devote their lives to study differ in opinion so I choose not to worry if I am right or wrong. You write excellent blogs and it is up to the reader to study it out and pray about their role in it. I do believe we are witnessing the very things in our lives that the bible speaks of coming to pass in the last days. No doubt. Many hugs, juanita |

Hey Juanita, I do not worry if we differ in opinion as to the tribulation. I know there is a lot of divided opinion on this subject. I will be happy if u are right..*smile* as it will save me from what I am afraid of :-) But I also hope to be prepared if you are wrong. "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666" (Rev. 13:16-18). I don't want to be deceived and succumb to getting the chip, otherwise my walk has been in vain for my own salvation! "A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If ANYONE worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of THE SAINTS who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus' " (Rev. 14:9-12). We do agree that the Lord is coming soon and we need to be ready. We also agree that the believer needs to study for himself or herself and seek God's understanding of the Word. May God speak to many and bring repentance. Not only that but may we EACH do our part to wins souls before it is too late and may we seek God for the WISDOM and DISCERNMENT about the enemies tactics. | I can see what you mean Joyful Servant. Its like I said the other day, finances will cripple people and drive them to their knees, and fear will instill into people to give up their freedoms. Or another way of putting it. If they can control people's finances - they can control the people. And if they can control the people - they can control the world, and it all hinges on finances and fear. Its being played-out before our eyes. My dear friend. I must cut in here for an adjustment of facts. Many actually believe what you just wrote and it could not be further from the truth, if the devil himself, wrote it.
First, let me say, the number of the beast id 666 because he returns in the SIXTH VIAL, SIXTH TRUMP, AND THE SIXTH SEAL. Combined it adds up to 18 which stands for bondage. If you read your Bible a little closer. You will see it says "IN" HIS FOREHOOD" not "on" as quoted here. Now, what is IN our forehead? Our brain. Without a true understanding of God's Word. We can not have His number which is 777., As He returns at the SEVENTH VIAL, SEVENTH TRUMP, and SEVENTH SEAL!! We are, at this date and time, So great scholars state We are In the fifth TRUMP, awaiting the anti-christ, or the INSTEAD OF CHRIST as it means in the Greek. He will be cast out of heaven where he is now. Pretending to be our Savior returned. He will fool a great many injto thinking he is our Loed. he will look just as the many THINK our Lord looks. But, he is DEATH.
Revelation 13:4-17 explains well who he is. But it is IN the forehead and IN the hand which means you will do his work, or labor. If one is still., in the flesh, and not the "air" (spirit) then it CAN NOT be who we are waiting for. Those who believe they will be "raptured" will be very sorry indeed if they wanted to meet Jesus. After the FIVE month period. He will then appear as we will be in spiritual bodies as the great book of Revelation tells us.
The ONLY way to escape this is to keep the seal of God "IN" your forehead. By learning and understanding His Word correctly. That means from the beginning to the last page. God bless, and Amen. |

| Hey brother, thank you for joining in and sharing. I know there are different views and opinions on the same Word. It is up to each of us to determine what is truth according to the scriptures AND as the Spirit of God gives illumination. I thank you for sharing your views on this. I think it is very very clear based on facts that there WILL indeed be a day when the world's system demands that we have a microchip. This isn't an interpretation of scripture...this is simply on the research and now almost common knowledge as to what is indeed happening in the world with the one world government etc. I also believe and conclude that the microchip and number will be the mark of the beast. If the world government (yet) coming, demands I take a mark, I will be prepared. If the world government doesn't demand a I take a mark, then that is great! I just want to be prepared and make sure I do not miss the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. God bless you! |

I am and, have been well aware of these "chips", etc. But, as stated above. They have nothing to do with God's Word, and the mark of the beast. I bring attention again to the fact. The Bible says, "In the forehead," not ON as is stated in the quote stated of Rev 13:16-18.
The entire Chapter is to let you know which Christ comes first so you won't be taken out of the field, and out of harvest. No one says you have to believe it. There are many that wont. But, this God's Word. Not man's. Check your Bible again, and see what I tell you is truth!! The "false Christ will bring the "NEW World Order" with him. We must be wiser than the Serpent if we are to be a good servant of God. God bless!! |

Hi Brother, am sorry but I don't think u are understanding my post or my comments. We (you and I) actually agree on the coming of the false Christ bring the new world order! If I understand you, you are saying there is no pre-tribulation rapture therefore Christians are not taken out of the field..I am in agreement on that. My entire point in this is to MAKE AWARE TO THE SAINTS, that they must not CONFORM to the ways of the New World Order as that will ensure they do not get to Heaven. That means we have to be ready, be prepared, be strong and able to withstand in the last days. The mark of the beast is indeed stated to be "on" the forehead...so while it may not be the microchips as we know them, I am quite positive that the chips and all the movement to establish the New World Order etc. is for the sole purpose of getting man to take the Mark of the Beast when the anti-christ attempts his final acts to prevent us from getting to heaven. By the grace of God I hope that people will open their ears and eyes and be alert to all the signs and get ready. God bless all who hear. |

OK, so I read one or both of those Hal Lindsay books before I was saved. Always was into end time prophesy. Anyways, it's funny because my neighbor was over for coffee, yesterday, and she got to talking to me about the mark of the beast, and stuff. I always figured, since I read a lot of them books, it'd end up being the microchip thingy. All I know is that it will be an actual pledge of allegiance to the Beast, as well as something that enables you to buy or sell, and without it, you can not. It says that the mark will be in their hand or forehead, and a chip would def qualify as being "in." As for what you believe about the 'rapture', this past Sunday, we just started at a new church, and I had never been fully convinced by anyone's arguments regarding when the church is raptured, or taken up to be with Jesus, until this past Sunday! I have always noticed I could never figure out where the coming of Christ could be 2 seperate events, and where this whole pre-trib thing came in to play. Now more than ever, I firmly believe we WILL be here for such things. I could go on with many Scriptures like when the Word says that until the anti-Christ is revealed and whatnot, we ain't going nowhere! Here's what I want you to do if you haven't already seen this: Take Matthew 24 and lay it out next to Revelations 6. Parallel, eh? And in the I think its last chapter in Daniel, it even says the time as far as "at that time" the angel Michael will stand up and the ppl of God will be delivered. This is AFTER the antichrist has made war with the saints. In these last days, we shall be refined like silver. The wheat and tares shall be seperated. The true beleivers will be seperated from the make believers. If someone is holding a gun or knife to your throat or something and asking you to renounce Christ, you weed out the make believers very quickly, don't you? We can't say God wouldn't allow His ppl to go through that. They ARE going through this, already! All over the world!!!! India, the middle east, parts of Africa, etc. I admit if I allow myself to think too long upon the scary stuff, it overwhelms me, especially since I dreampt since I was a little girl, I'd be maytryed, but at this point I just tell God, I know He wont' give me more than I can handle, so I won't allow myself to live in fear. |

I also totally agree that true believers will easily be separated from the make believers when it comes down to these last days. And, you are oh so right, the people of God have always gone through persecution somewhere in the world! Anyway, I too don't try to get myself so scared that it overwhelms me because God is for us. He won't give us more than we can handle and God doesn't give us a spirit of fear. When we have faith we can do all things through Christ. Whenever I think about this Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo in the fiery furnace for refusing to bow down to the golden statute. God help us to be mighty men and women of faith. |
