Having a deep hunger inside of me to read God's word tonight, I crawled in a comfy chair to snuggle with my Savior. A whirlwind of thoughts twirled through my mind. Looking into the future there rests hope. Sure, I have hope with me, but when you have come from nothing in your life, walked in that for many years, and then you begin to see a future, a hope....wow, there it is! God's plan!As I pondered in the ramifications of this new adventure, I came back and thought to myself, why am I here? No, not the big, 'why are you here in life', the simple...why am I snuggled up in this chair.... What does it mean to snuggle with God?
A simple definition: –verb (used without object) | 1. | to lie or press closely, as for comfort or from affection; nestle; cuddle. |
–verb (used with object) | 2. | to draw or press closely against, as for comfort or from affection. |

Wow, bask in that! Yes! To press-in! Not only to press in to God's chest, but to press in to:

Sometimes when I pray, I ask God to wrap me in his love with his arms for my blanket and his lap for my pillow.

| Amen Cheryl. Thank you for sending this to me! Meditating and basking in the presence of our Lord and Savior. We have a christian radio station here in Alabama that plays some of the most beautful songs very early in the morning. It's called "In His Presence". The Lord has spoken to my heart through so many words in a song that I have heard. He has such a wondrous plan for each and every one of us! |

I did just that last night. Greg was gone to his Uncle's funeral. Sydney gave me this "Mom sized baby blanket", and I held to my cheek and prayed until I fell asleep. I know He was with me; I can feel Him, just as I do now. I feel that safety. I do love Him. |
