II Chron 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
I am batting around some ideas in my head and this is something that is exciting to me:
God is looking for someone who is available:
The boy fed the masses w/ 2 loaves and 5 fish Isaiah prepared the way for the Messiah Nehemiah rebuilt a city Rahab saved some li ves Esther saved a nation Gideon Raised an Army David slew a Giant
God is looking for the available:
tHe humble/the broken the holy/ and pure those in love with Him those willing to please him those willing to trust him |

Here is the context of that scripture:
2 Chronicles 16:7-10 ( ESV ) At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, “Because you relied on the king of Syria, and did not rely on the Lord your God, the army of the king of Syria has escaped you. Were not the Ethiopians and the Libyans a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the Lord, he gave them into your hand. For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.” Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in the stocks in prison, for he was in a rage with him because of this. And Asa inflicted cruelties upon some of the people at the same time.
This is really about who we put our trust in to accomplish things...ourselves, our "army" (e.g. strength, intelligence, etc.) or in our trust in Him and his covenant. We walk in a New Covenant with New promises; however this was written for our instruction.

| Great story and great truth brother Craig that was exactly my point. God doesn't use the mighty, the wise, the noble, but he uses the average and ordinary...the obedient and the humble. He will not share his glory with anyone. |
