I was reading a blog about prayer and I was reminded of one of the best prayers I ever prayed.  I read about purity of the mind and having grown up in a home where sexuality was encouraged, my mind was filled with sexual images that would wake me up sweating.  I decided I wanted purity in all of my life, including my mind so I prayed that God would take these fantasies away and fill my dreams with love and wonder and He did.  It also got rid of the nightmares as well. 

I believe that Satan will try to influence you whenever and wherever he can.  I felt that if I was dreaming about horrors and sexual images, I might some day act on it, and I needed to get it away from my thoughts and dreams.  God has truly blessed me.  I asked, he answered.  I meant it when I asked, and He knew it!
