Just like if you set up an 'PayPal' account you would receive a 'button' that displayed on the homepage or the front of the activity you represented. That is the same truth in life...you have a button on the front of your life and this button is the very one satan likes to push. He will add the right mixture of people, of things, of disappointments, of inticements.... But, did you know that your shield of Faith wraps around THAT button! In Ephesians 6 you put on your Armour of God. When you are walking in the Spirit of Truth, that armour never comes off, you don't even recognize it...it becomes a natural part of who you are....an homepage for the Fruit of the Spirit! Walk in Victory, Jesus has resurrected from the dead and why would you want even portions of your life dead when life is offered! 5:15 Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; 5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 5:17 Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 5:18 And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit; 5:19 speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; 5:20 giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

Why does that make me want to shout?

| We were talking about the armour this morning at a ladies bible study I go to and we all realised just how important it is to be covered from head to toe in the armour of God and for good measure a covering ogf the Precious Blood. |

Good thoughts Cheryl
I'll never forget(I hope) the lessen of those verses when the teacher said to think of a mid-evil knight and his armor and how it completely covered him so well, that the opponent could not even see who was in the armor.
When we put on God's armor, and "get in the ring" with the devil, if we continue to say "it is written" and respond to EVERYTHING with The Word of God, to the devil, it is God in that armor! And he runs from us! |
