2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
I wanted to start part II by showing that the Wrath of G-d/Day of the L-rd isn't the same as the tribulation.
24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Compare Math. 24:29 above with Isa. and Acts above and notice that the sun and moon will be darkened afterthe tribulation during G-ds wrath.
Most churches who teach pre-trib rapture say that the Wrath of G-d and the great tribulation are the same thing and that the opening of the 1st 6 seals are included as His Wrath. Read Un Pack your bags Pt1 and see how this could not be the same time. Let me give one more example of when Yeshua said to look for His return.
21:28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
What things was our Savior speaking about here in verse 28 of Luke? Lets look at a couple of verses before this one.
21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
When we see these signs and others that's when we should be looking for our Savior. What we are usually taught is that we will not go through any trials or tribulations and that we will be plucked out before any trouble starts. That isn't what the Word teaches.
One other misconception I would like to clear up is who the restrainer may be. The teachers of the pre-trib rapture teach that the Holy Spirit or church must be removed before the anti-messiah can be revealed.
2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2:6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
It is the Holy Spirit's job is to convict people of thier sin not to restrain sin. It is our duty to restrain sin as G-D’s children
16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
In the next verse Yeshua tells us what the job of the Holy Spirit will be.
16:8 And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Who could the restrainer be then? I believe the answer can be found in the Book of Daniel.
10:21 But I will tell thee that which is inscribed in the writing of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me against these, but Michael your prince.
Also lets look at one more verse in Daniel.
12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the
children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Who is the children of thy people? They are Yisra'el (church) and it is phrophcy about the comming tribulation.
My hope is that you may research the scriptures for yourself and see what the Word truly does teach. Too many times we depend on a doctrine of man and call it G-d's doctrine.
Shalom
