This message of forgiveness is central not only to the Bible and Christian faith, but to our world as a whole. Willingness to forgive past transgressions is the key to healing our world, whether they are as simple as an argument between brother and sister or as complex as clashes between Israelis and Palestinians. We can only hope that more people become acquainted with this message. 25:6 Be mindful of thy mercy, O LORD, and of thy steadfast love, for they have been from of old. 25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions; according to thy steadfast love remember me, for thy goodness' sake, O LORD! |
