| Pausing to remember Hope |
|
| |
I remember Hope as gentle and considerate, always pleasant, never harsh or hurried. She always made me feel comfortable as a child, never once intimidated. We liked her because she was so nice! Unfortunately distance deprived me of the blessing of a close relationship with Hope as I grew up. Yet my childhood memories of her will always be cherished. Hope has been singing blissfully before the throne of heaven for almost two weeks now. Aunt Hope, thanks for your living example of grace. The memories of you are sweet, and will always be very dear to my heart.

Sir Mike~
What a wonderful name: Hope. And what a blessing that she was a woman of grace. Hope and grace: Two words that indicate a life well lived. How fitting!
I am glad for the sweet and dear memories that comfort you.

to be in the presence of the King! *sigh* I had a neighbor that I thought of when you were talking about your Aunt. She knew our lives were... well, and she did all she could to show us God's love. Lord, may everyone have a lady like this in their childhood. |

| What you said....singing blissfully before the throne...can you imagine the joy?? Can you imagine the peace?? The freedom??? I would say, she is very lucky indeed, and you are blessed to have known her and shared life with her, however brief it might seem. And someday you will be there with her! Peace to you. |

The wording you use... Fruits of the Spirit, she had. "gentle and considerate, always pleasant, never harsh or hurried. She always made me feel comfortable as a child, never once intimidated."
Ah.... God's love was poured upon her, and so she poured her love upon the children. Mike, you just glorified God with your blog, and blessed each one of us.
