The Bible is very interesting. With other books, the more you understand the book, the more you know the author. But in the case of the bible, the more you know the author, the more you understand the book.

When you recieve the Holy Spirt, the Word comes into you so that when you read the bible now, you are coming into that which is now indwelling within you.
The Word is alive in you and has the power to transform us into Christs Likeness. Amen? I Love you.

I have gone to Pastors school(was trained in 101 different ministries, I have been a Jr. High Youth leader, I Iwas our churches Worship leader, was a mom of 5 boys... then went through a divorce (no need for details ) I have been in college for 11 years total- have no degrees but take the Bible with me to every class!  My professors all see me comming (if they have not had me before- they have heard about me :0) I am now old (well old compared to the student's that are sitting in the desk's around me) and it always comes up in one form or another.  I keep a Bible in my backpack and one in my purse atall times.

I teach art and God is in all my classes!

Wow, well put Preston!

So many have an aversion to the bible b/c of what it stands for.... such a shame.

It really is a shame.  The bible has played such an important part in our society's development.
