God led them thru the wilderness. The route was his choice! The destination his gift! And best of all, he never left them!
1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." ---- He will NEVER leave of forsake you.

Our duty is to have FAITH AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED.   Yes, it is a time of testing but I believe if we stay the course and have that Faith and Know that He is there we will come out on the other side....

This too shall pass - That's what I keep telling myself.

I was in basic training in the army and I know I needed the discipline.  One of the best things I have done in my life.  I kept telling myself "This too shall pass" and it did for the better.  I hear you Cindy, I know the feeling and you know I do.  We cannot give up because we truly know what is at the end.

Love you Sis

Hi Cinder's.  Great message.  The amplified version of leading them through the wilderness - was to test and to prove them.  These are testing times, and God is testing and proving all the way along, whether we really want something or not.

Hi Cinder's.  One thing for sure.  Without a test - we wouldn't have a testimony, just the moanies.  And God knows I moan throughout my test, and that's my test-eeeeee-(don't know how I'm going to make it)-mony for the day.  LOL!!!  By the way.  Morning Cinder's and Ken, I've just gotten up.  So are we all ready for a test today? cos we may have to go through the wilderness to get it.

God has never brought us through a wilderness of financial problems and he must not think we need it..yet.I've always tried to hold material things loosely.I grew up poor but surrounded with love and stability.Since becoming a Christian I have been plagued with numerous health problems, all causing pain and discomfort more then real life threatening issues. What I have found over and over is; the times of suffering are the times I grow the most. I remember thinking that if anything happened to my husband's health, I would never be able to run the labour-intensive,non-automated greenhouse and farm business without him.It happened and I managed.
The result was a much greater faith in God's sustaining power.

I believe God wants us to turn to Him when we're troubled.  To talk with Him about the things that are out of our control, and to ask Him to help us.  Because... that's what He's wanting to do.  To listen, and to to whisper to us.  We just have to "clean out our ears" so that we can hear Him.

Pat: Since my husband has become a christian, he's become diabetic and was diagnosed with MS and had to take medical retirement.....God definitely tests us......but it's good, we become more and more dependent on him!

Sometimes we have to be brought to our knees, the one certain thing in all this is that God is in control. Have you and Ken in my prayers, I know you all are struggling, my God bless you my friends.
