I like this term.                  Predecide 

Found it in this book by Andy Stanley.

This is a book on wisdom and it challenges us to examine our decisions in the light of God's wisdom.  When we find ourselves facing a potentially dangerous spiritual situation.  Decide in advance how we are going to respond to that temptation.  Young Joseph was a healthy young man but he had decided in advance that he would not give in to the advances of Potiphar's wife.  He had predecided. 

Jesus when He met Satan in the wilderness temptation had already determined His response would be straight from the Word of God.  He was prepared.  Can I predecide how I am going to respond to temptation,  I think the answer is yes.  I know I will not be perfect but at least thinking about it as I go into a situation will help me depend on God and not lean on my own strength.

[I think this is a good book and worth the effort to read it, great insight for parents trying to help kids prepare for life.]
