I think I've found a car of the future that I might consider, seriously!
It is a five seater, meaning you can carry passengers and/or more than one bag of groceries. Those two seat scooter types I've read about, wouldn't hold more than a small bag of groceries and the driver. I can't help but compare this to a two seat Triumph Spitfire I owned at one time. It was sporty and cute but no room at all!
If you don't live around the corner from a grocery store it wouldn't pay me to run back and forth to the store doing errands, one bag at a time. This environmentally friendly vehicle sounds better than any other one I've read about.
I love that it is roomy, simple, cheaper upkeep and initial PRICE is REASONABLE!
This car seems to offer great promise for the future, especially with the forced changes we face because of energy.
This five-seat car runs on compressed air, has zero pollution, very low running costs and will cost just over $5,000.
It runs 200 miles on compressed air before another fill-up is needed.
***Refilling the automobile will, once the market develops, take place at adapted petrol stations to administer compressed air. In two or three minutes, and at a cost of approximately 2 dollars (1.5 Euros), the car will be ready to go another 125-175 miles (200-300 km). More info: BBC NewsBBC VideoBusiness Week article.
Thanks so much for reading my blog. I appreciate your star and comment.
Grandmama's Love,
I would LOVE the one that parks but as you say, one that runs on air seems much better! I like the five passenger but economical idea, too. Thanks for your star and comment.
Here's TWO new KINDS I found today, worth looking at, too! Don't know about fuel for them, but they are both worth looking at and could be tempting to add to wish list. Of, course I don't think I'll ever own either. Look at video:
Thanks! Apparently, we will be seeing a lot of different vehicle ideas. The car running on air sounds mighty good to me! Did you notice the flying car links I listed after your comment? Actually, I would prefer helicopter concept if we start flying around. :)
