It is sad that so many of us waste so much time clinging to sinful habbits and attitudes for so long after we are saved.  We are bought at a very high price and we should be living as children of the King instead of servants of this world.  It takes time in the scripture and prayer and christian fellowship and guidance for new believers to grow in the Lord and stop serving the god of this world.  Those of us who have been saved for some time should gently and lovenly guide new converts.  "feed My sheep".

I don't think most of us would be "liars'" on purpose. I know that I have to fight to die daily to my flesh and try to grow in my walk with the Lord and be led by His example. I think most of us struggle daily. I don't think it is possible for us to become perfect like Jesus and if we think we have then we are liars. We also must be led by His example of compassion and love for each other. Encouraging and not" looking at the beam" in our brother's eye.

Praise the Lord, Brenda!! I agree. I believe most Christians live in a way in which to try to do what is right and stay in God's will, but do have a "human nature" and the "flesh" to contend with. I agree 100% about encouraging one another and trying to stand behind them and "help" them. We need to try and look at the "beam in our own eye's" and not so much "the pebble" in our brothers/sisters eye. Thanks Brenda for always encouraging me and being there for me to talk to. You always try to find the positive in things. I love you sis!!
