Thank you P. Jay, I do believe He called me to that place and told my mom that it isn't really about money but where He needs me. I told her that there may be a person there who needs the gospel waiting for ME to share with him or her and so He is taking me there for that person. I am willing.

Those words have always rung true in my life, despite the storms and challenges weathered to date.

II don't want to make light of your situation because I know you have many needs for which you require your former income  and I cannot see everything you see. But here are just a few good things I do see in your situation as an outside observer.

1. you have a job. think of how many good christians on this site have no job and no income and they have great needs. they are still waiting for their good news.

2. you can still live at home with your husband and do your job, rather than travel to and fro spending on gas and wear and tear. though I don't know how far you had to drive, these costs do add up and possibly eat up more than the $2/hr difference.

3. i assume you no longer need to rent trailer pad space where you were living before surgery so again that is a huge savings.

4. you will have a coworker in Christ at your new work place that you get along with so well so you already have some one you know you have a great time with who will hopefully help you enjoy your working day that much more. a merry heart doeth good like medicine. prov. 17:22

5. your husband has a chance at a good paying job, more than making up the $2./ hr. difference.

6. there may be spiritual things (circumstances or people) ahead in your work place that need your light and prayers.

7. we do not see into the future. it may be that your former work place will have cut backs, changes or staff or what have you, that will make it an unattractive place to be despite the higher salary.

I stand in agreement with all here my friend. There is a reason for this and don't let the devil steal your joy in the meantime. There are alot of people being asked to take lower pay with their jobs and here the city and county municipalities are now trying to implement no pay on holidays, vacations, etc. and force folks just to quit. Im beginning to wonder how much of this is of good creed or just employers sabatoging their employees cause they can take the negative to rid themselves of good workers and continue to profit (greed) which is what got this economy thing snowballing.  The positive things here Juanita mentioned above surely outweigh the negative.

I am glad to know you are not doing all that driving as mentioned up above also. The wear and tear on a vehicle is not worth a few extra dollars.  The more you travel your chances of being in an automobile accident increase also.

You are so blessed and I value and treasure your friendship and look forward to many more updates on here as this chapter unfolds.

Thanks Mike, I took the job by the way. I thanked her for the offer and told her I felt the Lord wanted me there. I took mom to the doctor today and met two Christian women in the waiting room. I try to strike up a conversation everywhere I go and the Lord will use me in this office I am going to as well. He has it all worked out. I am taking a girl's position for three months while she is on maternity leave. I will be taking something else after that at the same place, so perhaps pay will change then as well, not sure.

I don't have the camper fee to pay any longer. I won't be driving every weekend, so that is a savings and yes Lynne, less chance of an accident. 

I have a brand new blood washed husband who laughed and said don't worry. I can't get sad if I try. lol And besides eternal life which is so wonderful, I have you all as my buds. Love you!
