This blog kinda sorta goes along with the blog I wrote awhile ago.
I was just listening to music that I like and got to the song Take It All by Hillsong. I was singing (horribly) along and then just paused and started to really listen to the lyrics. I encourage you to listen to the song with your heart wide open listening to the words and thinking on them.
"Jesus we're living for Your name, we'll never be ashamed of You! Out praise and all we are today, take take take it all, take take take it all."
What are we doing everyday that is praising to God? If we really live for Christ and want Him to be praised in all we do, we want Him to take all that we do and use it for His glory. But are we doing what is worthy for Him each day?
4:11 if any man speaketh, `speaking' as it were oracles of God; is any man ministereth, `ministering' as of the strength which God supplieth: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
If we aren't ashamed of Christ our Savior then we should be living in a way that He can take it and be praised. We should be showing others how awesome our God is! Let Christ take it all in your life.
Liz.....love your blog! And I agree w/Mary, you ARE a wise young lady, maybe wise beyond your years. BTW, I'm chuckling, 'cuz the verse you posted is one of my memory verses :)
yes i agree with everyones comments and would have said the same elizabeth so don't think i don't wanna write something down of my own ok because it truly ministered to me in way more than one and ministered to me beyond my wildest dreams
that's awesome Elizabeth, you are truly filled with the Spirit and God Blessed. this was the first time i've heard this song and it's awesome. music moves me and speaks to me sometimes like nothing else can. Nothing quite speaks like God's Word, or Prayer, but message through music touches some people (lost & saved alike) in ways words spoken cannot no matter who's talking. I pray God continue to inspire others with your young wisdom. Bless You.
