Amen!!!!!! There is enough for everyone. Reminds me of an old song....."Feed the children, but give me the crumbs from the table. I'll wait for them, down on my knees."

Thanks son, God is faithful.

Cindy, don't know that song, gonna try to google it and listen to it. Someone on youtube has sung it, surely. If not, I elect YOU!

Reminds me of when my kids were little and I would make cakes. After pouring the mix into the pans they would want to lick the spoon. That was enough for them

ha, crystal, that was before we knew about salmonella in eggs, right?

I did too, now we don't dare.

Lord, give us faith as that mother. Let us not become overwhelmed today. In the name of Jesus.

Lord, bless  your children who walk in perfection,

Who manage to master your will.

Feed them their share of sweet milk and wild honey

Provide bread of life, till they're filled.

Chorus:

Feed the children, but give me the crumbs from the table.

I'll wait for them down on my knees.

I'd be ever so grateful for the crumbs from the table,

For strength needed to follow Thee.

Second verse:

Lord, I'm not worthy to eat from the platter,

For I'm just a beggar in need.

Satisfy others, but when they're all finished,

Dear Jesus, have mercy on me.

Chorus:

Feed the children, but give me the crumbs from the table.

I'll wait for them down on my knees.

I'd be ever so grateful for crumbs from the table,

For strength needed to follow Thee

For strength needed to follow Thee.

Sung by Nat Stuckey

Hehehehe, I sang it while typing, hehehehehehe

This reminds me of when we had a Golden Retriever and a Beagle. One day I was cooking supper and had a phone call. When I came back my spoon was on the floor with the Beagle licking away. The Golden Retriever was sitting looking oh so innocent. I turned to the Golden Retriever and said don't you give me those innocent eyes I know you are the only one tall enough to reach the stove. I was more careful about leaving my spoon on the edge of the stove after that.
