Yes, it is good to be reminded of this. Our human nature finds it difficult to do, but our spirit wants to do it!

Yes!  I Praise Him morning, noon and night. I Praise Him for He is a good God.  Alleluia!!!!!!!!!
He turned my sorrows into joy. My weeping into laughter.  He kept my enemies at bay.  He rebuked the devourer from my daily bread.  He helps me when I am in trouble.  He hears my every cry and hastens to dry my tears. He has forgiven me for all of my past wrongdoings, when others will not.. He has never left me or forsaken me.  Most of all I love Him because He is Daddy to me and He is worthy to be praised!!!

Alleluia Alleluia Alleluia  Oh how I love my Creator. He is my all in all.

Thank you for this post.  You are a worshipper and I worship our creator right along with you..
Shalom to you and your family my friend.

Heavely Father,

I praise you in the midst of troubles and I ask that you bless me today and teach me how to praise your holy name, even when I am at my lowest.  It's been a tough year for me, but I look upon the blessings you have shown me instead of focusing on the trials.  You have taught me endurance, patience, and love.  You have taught me acceptance, recieving grace and above all that you keep your promises.  In losing my son, I have more reason to get to heaven now, in losing my home to fire, you are teaching me how to adjust to change and to rebuild, in losing my job, you have brought me to a rewarding new job, in dealing with marital problems, you have taught me to turn to you.  This has been a year of learning for me and I thank you for the lessons.  I am blessed in the shadows of strife.  I pray for an amazing day of blessings and I thank you for loving me so much!  Amen!

Sometimes reality will sink in and the last thing we think of doing is praising God. Our present reality has nothing to do with God's reality because he will use our circumstances to teach us how to break free from a prison mentality. Sometimes instead of seeing God in a situation we see our situations and they look bigger than God. Praise is an attitude of grattitude! We even have to thank him for the evil that comes our way! ??? Yes we do!

PRAISE overcomes all obstacles in our life because we are saying to God "I know you have everything under control and I just want to say Thank you".  Thank you for this roof over my head, this food on my table, for the protection and provisions that you have made for my family and friends.  Life is not a game that should be taken lightly and in this journey we each have to let our Father know that we love him and appreciate every little thing that He does for us especially when times are not so good.  PRAISE HIM in all that we do, in all that is happening in our life and the road ahead will get brighter....

This is the second great blog that I have read on this today! Maybe God is trying to tell me something! I think that I had better take note.

Prayer, praise, and thanksgiving have no power in themselves.  In fact the Publican, Jesus said, was praying to himself.  The power has to do with the fact that they all focus our attention on the One who is the solution, who is standing on the water; to the One who is greater than any name that is named, in this age or in the one to come!!!  As we "magnify" ETERNAL reality then the "temporal" realities diminish to their true perspective.  We are reminded "who can be our enemy if God is for us!"  Not as a "thought" exercise but by the Spirit because our focus changes from the waves and wind to the One who is standing on them!

Blessings!

Amen to this! I've heard this many times, and an attitude of gratitude is pleasing in God's sight. He hates grumbling, ungratefulness and complaint.  Just like we don't like it from our kids (though we love them).

Amen Sister! Our Hope lies in The Almighty God. God times, Bad times no differant.
34:1 <Of David. When he made a change in his behaviour before Abimelech, who sent him away, and he went.> I will be blessing the Lord at all times; his praise will be ever in my mouth. 34:2 My soul will say great things of the Lord: the poor in spirit will have knowledge of it and be glad. 34:3 O give praise to the Lord with me; let us be witnesses together of his great name.
