| Let My Words Be Few |
|
| |
No, I am not going to sing you a song. I leave that up to Phillips, Craig and Dean. I am confident that they do a much better performance of the song than I could ever imagine. I am sitting here in front of my computer thinking, and being awful glad that it's Friday, about a blog I need to write for another person's newsletter. I do enjoy writing when it's only ramblings of mine which I can do quite well. But this is different; it's for a newsletter and it's for someone else who is putting their trust in me to do a good work for them. Wham! God, He is so good! He says to me "just let your words be few." I thank you, Lord. I believe that God is the same today as yesterday so I shall conclude with it is possible that God was thinking yesterday of the blogs today when He said "...few." Hope you have a great weekend, God bless you all.
5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. |

| Yeah, where words are many, sin ain't absent, as Solomon said. You think that would encourage me not to have diarhea of the mouth! Enjoy your weekend. :-) |

Teral, great blog, I'm reading "30 days to Taming your Tongue" by Deborah Smith Pegues. I'm learning to say few words through my journey. |

Sister Teral. The words of an old saint of God has stuck with me for many years." Less said, Less mended". Sounds like a man that knew, what it was to have straighten something out after the fact. Brother Sanders |

I am a chatty person. I always hated hearing these verses about the tongue and fools and well you know. I am however learning to appreciate instruction in this area. Sometimes, I am truly able to shut my mouth. I love that less said less mended...thanks Vickie! I like the familiar faces. :) It is cozy. |

You're on to something there! I've edited countless articles and I can tell you that editing them down ALWAYS improves them. Great scripture, Lara, and I love "less said - less mended." I'm writing that down! |

| Preachers often hear from parishioners..I would rather see a sermon than hear one. I know what they mean but thank God folks still do assemble the breathren. Romans tells us that the Holy Spirit intecedes so powerfully for us that His world are inexpressble. How many of our prayers have been that intense. I send you some intense ones on your behalf. I just love Phillips, Craig and Dean. I also like what you shared. I am a person of little word, but sometimes I miss the word I should have said....lol Thanks for a great post! |

| This is great advice. I try to keep my words to a few, of course being shy, that isn't a problem, but there are times that we need to just be still and listen. Great blog. |
