13:1 Let love of the brethren continue. 13:2 Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. have you ever been in a place where God is pounding on your heart to witness but you just brush it by? once there was this guy named rev. chuck. he had just recieved news that a person in the congergration had become very sick and was being hospitalized. he was going to the hospital to visit the family and say a word of encouragement. when he got to erlanger he could not find a single parking place. he drove round and round but still no parking space. he finally saw a guy coming out with a baby in the stroller and he decided to follow them so he could get their parking space. the man loads the baby in the car and gets in the driver seat and just his luck... the car doesnt start. it is dead. chuck is like oh man... God, i am trying to go pray for this family and i can't even get out of the car! then thats when God hits him... "GO HELP HIM" chuck wasn't sure if he should, but he did. he walked over to the guy and chuck says hey... i have a jumper cable would you like me too help you?? and the guy responds... not in english but in spanish. chuck is now playing sharades trying to explain to the guy how to fix his car. he finally gets it up and running and he waves the guy off and then God hits him again... "GO WITNESS TO HIM" chuck goes... uh... God loves you... and the man looks all confused. then chuck points to himself and says im chuck. the spanish man does the same and says i'm jesus. wow. isn't that amazing. jesus in spanish is still spelt the same but said differently. what if chuck hadn't of stopped to help him and later found out that his car was jacked and him and his baby were on the streets. alone. would God of helped him? i think so. i hope you do too. has God ever left you alone? |
