The garden is quiet and still Jesus my Savior is there His heart is heavy and filled with pain "Father may this cup pass, but Thy will be done"
The courtyard is noisy, the din is loud Jesus my Saviour is there His pain is real for all to see A thorny crown has torn His brow His back is ripped with each strike of the lash
The hillside is stark and bare Jesus my Saviour is there Nailed to a cross mid another two It is finished was His cry Darkness falls and He breathes His last.
The sun is shinning on that bright morn As to the tomb they with haste did go But it was empty, no body was found For Hallelujah Jesus my Saviour had risen |
