With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the likeness of God.
A few years ago this verse was opened up to me, in a way I had never understood before. I was in my home alone, & I was walking through the house speaking out loud about something a son of mine, had done. I was upset & was saying He,s been raised better that & that was just plain sorry. I was running down what he did by my spealing. I didn,t hink anything about it. When I stopped speaking, I heard in my spirit ,a soft voice whisper Listen I was so still you could hear a pin drop, then I heard these words, You,re cursing your son. I said Lord please forgive me, I didn,t know. Then I repented & began to pray for my son & the problem. The words of ou mouth are seed, & we must guard the gate of our mouth, because the power of life & death lay in the tounge. May we begin to carry & speak life to all & not curse with our idle words. To God be the glory, may we walk in love & sow seed s of kindness, along the journey . Many need words of hope ,help, & restorataion. Not the condemnation, of our seeing the faults but the needs & reaching out a hand of help . May we all remember where God found us, & be ready to give a word of encourgment & sincere love to others. We have all sinned & come short of the golry of God. So let us always extend mercy to all we meet. |
