Hey Guys, my son finally got a chance to read the blog I wrote about his marraige. He read these poems and his favorite is The Light. I,m glad you enjoy. I know I'm enjoying writing about the love of God. You know a lot of pain comes with real love and it's not always warm and squishy is it. I Love you.

What a gift to reach your son! I love poetry although have not written it since I was a teen. Today's verse is yours, Preston...can't wait to see what the Lord reveals to you. Oh, pain and I are well acquainted. I went to a therapist after I was raped at age 16. Required by school because I ran away. Hal Brown was his name. He told me I was very emotional regardless of what happened to me, and feel deeper perhaps than some others. He said that it was bittersweet because I feel pain deeper but also feel love deeper than some. Not always warm and squishy unless it is a messy syrupy faced grandson crawling up in your lap and finding a shoulder to rest his face, pull back and grin and sweeten your shoulder once again. That is warm and squishy and gives you reason to keep on keepin' on. God gave me those beautiful moments to lesson my pain. I love you too !

Absolutely beautiful! I believe you can get a message across with a poem better than with a thousand words. Something about poetry reaches deep into a persons soul...so keep writing and blessing the rest of us! God bless you...I love you too!

Hello, Bren. If you guys only new how unlikey this would have all seemed of me years ago. God is amazing. I have told people this many times,... people struggling with the way things are going in their lives at that time. I tell them that you cant keep you eye on whats right in front of you. You have to consider (always) the "whole of life"... all of your life together. The Births and the Deaths, the trip out and the trip back,.. the airbed in an empty apartment to the delivery of new furniture. But we look for God in all of it. Seeking to understand what it is that this moment is preparing us for. Amen? I love you all very very much.

Hello New Friend, I'm afraid I don't know much about publishing. I know if it costs anything, the Lord will have to work that out also. He's only recently started using me in this way. I came to this site, really, just to ask a question the Lord laid on my heart about the teachings of the church,... concerning "love". Now, I guess He's showing us what He meant.

If you will look around here in my cluttered stuff everywhere, you'll find some kind of expression of His love for just about anyone you're trying to reach out to. But I will tell you this,... just because it's about love, it may not be recieved well sometimes. Well, thank you for reading. I love you.

My friend Preston,

Thank you for sticking to what you have been given and using your G-d given wisdom to publish all that you have recieved.  I love your writings and comments to other blogs, because they are born from your heart and you have been consistent. (I've been peeking brother) Smile!

Have you seen Kansas City recently?  I sent him a message and got no response.  Love you brother.

Oh, thank you so much Chuck. I know you know this, but isn't it exciting to watch the Lord use broken, worn-out, difficult,... oh and hard-headed (that's a good one) people and produce amazing things,.. hehe. I love you, Friend.
