Music from the car beside, off the charts now, sold worldwide.
Up goes my window,... I'm not an easy catch.
Message on my voicemail, "Hi, my names Mashelle".
Press 5 to delete,... I'm not an easy catch.
Free issue in my mailbox, Includes the latest fox.
In the trash,... I'm not an easy catch.
Track inside the screen door, "Pray to Mary Magdalene" and promises galore.
Right into the shredder,... I'm not an easy catch.
Television in the next room, can hear the words of doom.
Headphones on,... I'm not an easy catch.
Church wants more of me, the Spirit does not lead.
"I can't", I said... I'm not an easy catch.
My thoughts again, wondering on about those things in vain.
"Pray", I say,... I'm not an easy catch.
A word from the Lord comes to me, I feel it from my Heart.
I hear you Lord, "what do you want,... And "You know" how hard I was to catch".
Evil presses in all around us. Our thought life gravitates away from God. The churches busy-work can suck the joy right out of you. Our family problems will pull us down if we don't distance ourselves sometimes. Your weaker friends will try to pull you into giving them more than the Lord wants us to give. It just never stops!
Philippians 3:12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.
We've got to do whatever it takes to stay close to Christ, my Friend. I know we can do it. Together,... Amen?

Nice message Preston - I heard a similar story today on the radio from another preacher as I was doing errands. | Preston, I collapsed last night into bed early after going to prayer night at church just thirty minutes after work. I was supposed to go every night this week. An accident on the way home delayed me by twenty minutes meaning I would have ten minutes to be ready. I opted to pray tonight at home and rest. I am still adjusting to work and commuting an additional 2 hours a day. I will go tomorrow night and maybe Thursday or Friday but I have so much going on and need tonight at home.
I prayed and it felt right and ok. I have a friend who is a believer and seems to need me to discuss everything about her day. I have started allowing voice mail to catch some of these calls. I get two to three calls a day and have to make room for other things and other friends.
I felt guilty and after reading this, feel better. I don't usually draw boundaries. I read a book called NO is a complete sentence. I have to realize not everything is my responsibility even in the church.
I have to be careful of burnout. Some of the other stuff is easy to dismiss.
Preston, be super blessed as you have blessed me so often with your love. I love you too. |

| Preston,right now waiting on friends who are dropping in to see us and know the feeling of being too busy.As a teacher and pastor's wife being pulled in many directions at one time......I am printing your words of truth to read as needed. | I love you guys so much. I just had dinner with Christin and her two, plus Justin, his new wife Alisha and their two,... and I'm a little behind for individual replies now, but I thank God for each of you and all of you together. It,s funny how things work,.. I had worked harder on the "Trust in and Rely Upon" blog and had been holding back this one until todays bible verse popped up which really just opened the way for what I was saying in this one. I love your comments. |

| Every day I get numerous emails telling me that they want to give me millions of dollars because someone in a foreign country heard of me and thinks I should be in charge of their estate. LOL! I laugh every time I see one of them! I tell my husband -- "You know, people just love me worldwide! They're always wanting to send me money!" He rolls his eyes and tries to ignore me. :) :) :) But the way you worded it is right on target, "I'm not an easy catch!" Good job! |

| I know it, GrammyB,... they seem relentless. All my blogging and emailing is done over an HTC Inovative Smart Phone, (I don't have a computer) and so I don't get to see a lot of the pop-ups, backgrounds and stuff and so when I finally get to a computer, I am reminded how lucky I actually am.
