De acuerdo a la Biblia Amplificada esta escritura describe que la clave para definir el carácter, forma correcta de vivir e identidad de los verdaderos cristianos, sólo puede conseguirse a través de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la sana y saludable doctrina, a través de la cual somos instruídos. Es bueno saber que tenemos una referencia a la cual recurrir a fin de modelar nuestra manera de vivir, para tomar decisiones y emprender proyectos. La sana doctrina es nuestro punto de partida para cada situación en la que nos encontremos.

According to the Amplified Bible, this scripture describes that the key to define the character, right living and identity of the true Christians, only can be achieved through the teaching and learning of the sound and wholesome doctrine, through which one we are instructed.
