The sun rises, awakens the dawn,
Birds sing their morning song,
The women  rush to the tomb
And find that the body has gone
He Has Risen

Angels in their bright array
are the ones to say
"The one you seek is not here 
Among the dead
He Has Risen


As they meet together hearts filled with fear
Suddenly Jesus is standing there
"My peace I give to you
Do not be afraid It is I
See my hands, my head, my side"
I Am Risen

As two along the road do walk,
A stranger joins in with their talk,
They don't understand how it could be,
The stanger gently helps them to see
As part of God's plan it just had to be,
Their hearts burned within them
Their eyes opened wide and then they realised
That this was Jesus
The Lord Had  Risen
