| Woman Of Faith |
|
| |
A woman suffered from a flow, of blood since twelve years ago.
Spent all her living upon physicians, could not be healed by their decisions.
Came up behind Him and touched the fringe, of His garment, without a twinge.
Immediately her flow had ceased, because His power was released.
And Jesus said, Who touched my hem? denying it, were all of them.
Peter and those who were there, looked around in just despair.
Master, the multitudes surround, pressing in from all around.
But Jesus said, Someone did, for I perceived my power bid.
And when the woman saw she'd been revealed, she came to Him to yield.
Falling down before Him, she declared, in front of all who stopped and stared.
The reason she had touched Him sure, and how she'd instantly been cured.
Daughter, He then said to her, It was your faith that brought your cure.
He said to her then go in peace, With all His love, mercy, and grace.
From Luke 8:43-48
By Preston Pittman
As I read the account here with this woman with such great faith in Christ, I am reminded of something the Holy Spirit showed me years ago.
This woman had suffered for 12 years before receiving her miracle. When I had been divorced for 5 years, I was well on my way to recovery, but still dealing with missing the married (family unit) life once in a while.
I don't think God ever completely takes that away because ultimately it is the way it's suppose to be. Sure, He has kept what's left of our family together, and it has been wonderful what He has done for my children and I. And now, with my Grandchildren (both, natural and step Grandchildren), but still, His perfect will is for families to stay together.
But in my moments of dealing with that longing,... God showed me that, sure, it may be 5 years (at that time) that I've looked for "His blessing" of being with someone again,... But whether it's 5 or (like in the case of this woman in Luke),.. 12 years,... The day you do receive your miracle,... It doesn't matter how long it was,.... It's over,... It's done,... It is Finished! Amen?
What is important was my faith throughout the whole time. Looking for what He was doing with me during that period. Waiting to see what His plan for me is.
Trusting Him with every day of my life, my heart, and my walk with Him. That is faith that comes from a sincere Love for God and a love From God that wells up inside. Sometimes you can hardly breath when that kind of love stirs. Amen?
I Love you |

| This is an excellent reminder, isn't it? Most of us are waiting on our miracle, and some of us have been waiting so long, we almost lose hope. Thanks for this blog! |

What is also important is that other people heard her story and they too pressed through the crowds and as many who did, and touch the hem of his garment, were all healed. Those who heard and did not mix that word with belief, did not risk the crowds, or the chance that they might offend someone, remained in the same boat they were in. The following verse is well after her story: Matthew 14:35-36 (ESV) 35 And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick 36 and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well. He didn't go to them...they came to him. The scripture says: "call for the elders..." The violent take the Kingdom by force. Those who heard and then pressed their way through the crowds screaming "Don't bother the master!" etc. were the ones who were healed. Those who heard and stayed home stayed as they were. We need to get our of our comfort zone, get out of the boat, and take some risks. But it's all about going to him! And being told by him: "Come!" Blessings! Craig |

| Oh Craig, that is so true. What is it that you are afraid of,... God said it in His Word,.. Then don't be afraid... or you believe that's what the Holy Spirit has told you to do,... Then STEP out in Faith. Amen, my Friend. Thank you. |

God gave me a scripture concerning a loss in my life...it was close to 16 years before that scripture was fulfilled. The very moment it came to pass I turned to my husband and saw the look on his face: he saw the same thing. The fulfillment of it didn't "feel" like I supposed it would, it was much, much sweeter. What looked completely impossible at the time the scripture was given, was fulfilled in a better way than I could have ever imagined. God is so good! |

Waiting... knowing that He has heard our prayers, and that the answer will come. I think that is when I grow the most; during the times I wait. Love to you, Preston Joey |

| Sometimes it's the waiting and then wondering if God is going to show up in our situations. This is usually when the Holy Spirt reminds me to wait upon the Lord Jesus...I am still waiting on a son who has strayed away from the Lord and his family..it hurts but I know that only LOVE can bring him back....Love is waiting and letting God do the work. Love to dear brother...always wanted one and now God has given me one....bless you. |

I am still waiting, Precious,... with the same confidence I had then. I am anxious to see what God has planned for my friend Tina. When you changed your photo a while back, I look at it with Gods' heart and His eyes. I was praying for you and the girls,... I remember feeling how much love was pouring out from Him for you, and it just gave me that assurance that His plan is AWESOME. I'm so glad He brought you to this blog today. I love you. |
