The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The word "fear" does not mean to be afraid of the Lord.....rather i think it means to have reverance, awe of Him.....when we reverance and have love for our Lord, He gives us wisdom and knowledge of His word....people who do not believe and have reverance for God are foolish not to believe. |
