| Thoughts on Revelation 2:3 |

- I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary.
I admire anyone out there who can do this. I believe even the those with the strongest relationships with the Lord eventually grow weary, but where the strong prevail is that they quickly realize their mistake and turn back to God. Also, the patiently part of the scripture is very meaningful. Many times we do not get our prayers answered right away, but if we wait good will come.
I would like to pose some questions, off topic from this verse.
1. How do you truely know when something is a calling from God or just a feeling of a worldy desire to do something? Do you act on the feeling unsure if it is holy?
2. Are all prayers answered? How can we know the line between was is wrong to pray for or not?
3. What can you do to draw closer to God? What if you desperately want to know and love Him, but do not feel the connection?
Thanks guys, God bless. |
