Hans and Shireen Alberts are members of the Church of Christ in Pretoria West, South Africa. Their eldest son, Keagan, has cancer. This is his mother's plea for him...

"I hope that this will reach as many people as possible. All I ask is a prayer for our son, Keagan Alberts, who has leukemia. We really need a miracle and we - his parents - pray that God will heal him completely, restore every cell in his little body so that he may begin to lead a normal, painfree and happy life.

"Keagan will be 4 years old in June this year. He was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - B cell. It is cancer of the white blood cells) at the age of 21 months, in March 2007. Since he started chemotherapy, and also underwent 12 days of radiation to his head, the cancer has returned for the third time. We were told that the cancer cells had become immune to the chemo and his doctor suggested he go for a stemcell transplant. If this last resort is not successful, the unthinkable is inevitable.

"My husband and I decided to seek alternate therapy (by way of Rife and Scio treatment) to aid in his healing. This method is painfree and natural, but nevertheless we need a miracle. We are currently seeking the advise of 2 professors to whom we have been referred, as well as any other info that could be helpful in Keagan's recovery.

"Throughout my life God has answered so many of my prayers. I know that God does things in His way and in His time, and we serve an awesome, almighty God who loves us so much. There is power in prayer and that is why I humbly ask each person who receives this mail, to PLEASE pray for my little boy. He's so beautiful - both my boys are! Keagan has a lively and sparkling personality, people are drawn to him and he captures the hearts of those who know him. I admire him for all that he has been through in his short life - he truly is a remarkable little human being. Even though he's so small, I stand back in awe of him.....and pray that he will soon recover.
